Hanover Supervisor Wins 97th District Convention
Hanover, VA –
The 97th District convention was held today at Atlee High School, which resulted in an overwhelming victory for Scott Wyatt.
Hanover Supervisor Scott Wyatt commented on his victory, “I’m honored to receive the Republican nomination for the 97th House of Delegates seat. Today, we begin to share our message of limited government with the voters of King William, New Kent and Hanover. We look forward to working with all of you to maintain our Republican majority in the House of Delegates.”
To the Chris Peace supporters in attendance at today’s convention, Wyatt offered these words, “I hope to earn your support.”
The convention was attended and supported by members and representatives of the Senate Caucus and included strong support from Senate Majority Leader Tommy Norment.
Senator Ryan McDougle encouraged Delegates and attendees by saying, “It is part of of our civic duty to show up and participate.”
His comments were followed by Senator David Suetterlein who said, “Holding this convention is keeping faith with the voters.”
